As an admin, my focus is to support our therapists and the agency as a whole so we can better serve our clients. My responsibilities are diverse, and include: working with insurance companies to ensure services are paid, setting up and maintaining PCs for our staff, managing access and logins for various cloud services and payor portals, drafting spreadsheet templates to assist with payroll processing and income tracking, and researching industry regulations to aid management in forming practice policies.
Another of my important responsibilities is management of client accounts. This includes invoicing, applying discounts, handling refunds, and providing financial statements and other documents upon request. I understand medical bills and insurance statements are not always easy to interpret, so I am available to answer any questions clients may have regarding their charges. I take all client concerns and complaints seriously. If you ever have a question or take issue with a charge, please reach out to me. At minimum, I should be able to explain specifically what the charge is for, and if I find we made a mistake I can instantly remedy it. For more complex issues I cannot directly resolve, I will ensure your concern is forwarded to the clinical director.
When I am not working at Age to Age, you can usually find me working on music, learning new things, starting and abandoning various personal projects, and probably playing too many video games when I don’t have the energy for others. I enjoy Dungeons and Dragons, modding (Skyrim, obviously), and driving my friends crazy debating political and philosophical topics.
